BodyTalk forAnimals

Why BodyTalk for Animals?

The bonds between us and our animals are tremendous. As part of their unconditional love for us, our animals will choose to take on any physical or emotional issues as a way of helping us to cope.Animals will often mirror their human companions.Addressing issues of our animals will often help enhance the general health and well-being of their human companion, as well as themselves.

Animals have a natural desirefor health and well-being, but domesticated animals areeasily affected by the stresses of living in humanenvironments or competitive elements of the show world.Ananimal’s behavior is usually an outward manifestation ofsomething deeper inside. When the BodyTalk practitionerfacilitates deep balancing, often behavioral issues areaddressed as well.BodyTalk will assist the animal inletting go of their burdens and embrace physical, emotional, behavioral and energetic health and balance.

The BodyTalkSystem

The BodyTalk System is a safe,non-invasive, fast and effective health care modality thataddresses the body in a truly integrative and holistic way.

The BodyTalk practitionerrecognizes that the bodymind complex functions as asynchronicity and acknowledges that poor health is anindication that the body’s innate wisdom, to heal andmaintain synchronicity within the body, is in need ofenhancement.

BodyTalk sessions for animalsbalance the bodymind complex and address underlying issuesthat are typically not addressed through veterinary care.It can be seamlessly integrated into any health care system, increasing its effectiveness and promoting faster healing.BodyTalk’s major assets are simplicity, safety, speed ofresults and effectiveness.

How BodyTalkWorks

The BodyTalk System recognizesthat within each of us there lies an innate knowing of who weare and what makes our bodies work, referred to as the innatewisdom. This innate wisdom carries the answers to ourphysical and mental dilemmas and is addressed in thefollowing way:

1.     TheBodyTalk System facilitates communication with theinnate wisdom of the body by using neuromuscularbiofeedback. The innate wisdom thus providesaccurate guidelines with regards to the bodymindcomplex’s requirements for optimum health.

2.     By following a comprehensive protocol of questions, the BodyTalk practitioner can establish exactly what balancing the body needs in order to harmonize bodymind function. This involves finding out which organs, endocrines, or body parts need to be connected to heal communication between them at the physiological, biochemical, circulatory, nervous, emotional and or energy levels.

3.     When an imbalance is found, the areas are contacted by the animal’s human companion and/or practitioner’s hand. While the links are being held, the practitioner gently taps on the head, and then over the heart complex.Tapping on thehead enables the innate wisdom to register these links to the brain, which enhances the over all integral functioning and communication within the body.Tapping on the heart complex stores thesechanges, which ensures that the new balance is held in deep memory and is therefore lasting.

The innate wisdom and healingfunction inherent in the body is enhanced on alllevels-physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Clinical results have shown thatonce the communication systems of the body have beenre-established and the bodymind complex synchronized, thebody is capable of healing itself at a deep and lastinglevel.

What BodyTalkHelps

BodyTalk has proven to be very effective in addressing many common, and some not so common, diseases.  As the body becomes“balanced”,functions of every part of the body and mind improve.  This means that the immune system will start to eliminate chronic and acute viruses, bacteria, parasites and toxins.  Re-establishment of the mind / body balance reduces and can eliminate allergies and emotional and psychological disorders.  It also improves posture and coordination, digestion and elimination, brain functions, learning disorders, and states of distorted consciousness in the form of negative attitudes.

Reiki (pronouncedRay-Key)

Why Reiki for Animals?

The bonds between us and our animals are tremendous.  As part of their unconditional love for us, our animals will choose to take on any physical or emotional issues as a way of helping us to cope.  Animals will often mirror their human companions.  Addressing issues of our animals will often help enhance the general health and well-being of their human companion as well as themselves.

Animals have a natural desire for health and well-being, but domesticated animals are easily affected by the stresses of living in human environments or competitive elements of the show world.  An animal’s behavior is usually an outward manifestation of something deeper inside.  When the Reiki practitioner facilitates deep balancing, often behavioral issues are addressed as well.  Reiki will assist the animal in letting go of their burdens and embrace physical, emotional, behavioral and energetic health and balance.

Reiki energy is a“universal life-force energy”and is extremely powerful healing energy.  As the Reiki Practitioner holds her hands at various parts of the body, she directs the energy through the seven main chakras to enhance physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.

It can be used as a stand alone or complimentary modality. It does not interfere with traditional medical treatment or conflict with any other health care modality, but enhances the results.  Reiki speeds the healing process.

Seven Main Chakras

The seven main chakras are the energy centers located along the center of the animal's body.  Through the seven chakras, animals give off and receive essential energy between the physical and subtle bodies.  An animal’s feelings filter down through the chakras to the physical body, where they become outer manifestations.  Chakras nfluence, emotionally and physically, every part and function of the animal.  Each chakra governs a gland in the physical body, controlling specific physical organs as well as all aspects of consciousness. Therefore, it is possible to see how physical symptoms relate to potential areas of energy imbalance.

Example:

Heart Chakra

Influences:  Heart, blood circulation, lower lungs, chest, thorasic vertebrae, immune system

Healingbenefits:  Helps to alleviate heart and circulatory problems, immune system dysfunction, emotionall instability, anger.  Energizes the blood and circulation.  Instills harmony, balance, contentment, peace, happiness.  Helps with other problems associated with the areas mentioned under influences.

A balance within the chakras results in optimal health andvitality.  It is through the chakra network that the animal’s mind, body and spirit interacts as one holistic system.  Damage to one of the chakras through trauma, injury, emotional conflict or other means, manifests as dysfunction in the related areas of the physical body.  Thus, diseases are caused.

All chakras are based on sensitivity to subtle energy.  This idea of subtle energy is becoming more widely recognized and accepted within Western medicine.  As a matter of fact, there is an organization called the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy Medicine, whose membership is made up of medical doctors, veterinarians, scientists and alternative healers who work specifically with subtle energy.  These types and ideas of healing include acupuncture, reiki and homeopathy.
